Poles

Our poles can be used for cross-country skiing, roller skiing and nordic blading (inline skating with poles).

KV+ offers a range of poles with varying carbon contents, determining the weight and strength of the poles. The basic KV+ Campra poles are 30% carbon and good for recreational skiers at lengths of 145cm and under. For more serious skiers, and longer pole lengths, the Viking, Tempesta and Tornado poles offer 70% to 100% carbon options.

LEKI poles offer a high tech 'Trigger Shark' strap and handle mechanism, which is popular for its speed of release and ease of replacement. Alu poles are great for complete beginners. We sell LEKI's versatile XTA Vario poles and performance PRC 700 and PRC Max poles.

Roller ski and cross-country ski poles are essentially the same, but you can convert the roller ski poles to XC ski poles by changing the pole tips. Roller ski tips are made of hard metal, XC ski tips have 'baskets' which keep them from sinking into the snow.

KV+ Quick Change Roller ski Tips - £17
Will fit all poles fitted with the KV+ Quick Change system, both 10mm and 8.5mm poles. Simply unscrew old tips and slide off, then slide on the new ones and tighten the screw.

   

KV+ Quick Change Roller ski Tips + Base Cap + Screw - £21
Change your poles to the new KV+ Quick Change system. There is a different Base Cap for the 10mm and the 8.5mm poles, but the tips and screw are the same. Instructions

These will fit all poles fitted with the KV+ Quick Change system, both 10mm and 8.5mm poles. Simply unscrew old tips / baskets and slide off, then slide on the new baskets and tighten the screw.

Have your poles fitted with Leki Fin Vario System tips or baskets, in place of conventional pole tips (includes base mounting mechanism). The Fin System is the Leki equivalent of the KV+ Quick Change system and allows you to quickly screw the tips on and off to replace them or swap from roller skiing to snow.

We remove the roller ski tip or snow basket and fit the following -
