Rollerski Technique & Proficiency award day Sunday 17th October & 5th December, Dorney Lake Snowsport England, the governing body of cross-country skiing, has recently revised its rollerski and snow based Nordic Proficiency Scheme. This structured assessment allows you to measure your technical progress. Dagmar Junghanns will be doing technique instruction and a proficiency assessments at Dorney Lake on 17th October and 6th December . Dagmar is responsible for the national implementation of the scheme, and is an experienced cross-country ski instructor. She's also a member of the Wessex Biathlon & Nordic Ski Club.
If you have any questions on any of this, please email info@rollerski.co.uk or call Iain on 020 8348 2540 or 07968 286129.
The scheme fits in well with the way we teach rollerskiing, as we cover all the various different components of the classic and skating cross-country ski techniques. Usually beginners will have achieved the 2 or 3 Star level on rollerskis by the end of one of our 4-week courses, and the 1 or 2 Star level on our Dorney 1-day course. More advanced skiers should be aiming for the higher Stars. Proficiency Award Scorecard - |
