Coaching day with Mike Dixon

The British Masters Cross-Country Ski Association is running special coaching day with Mike Dixon. Here is the information -

Date: Sunday 18th December
Time: 09:00-12:00
Venue: Hillingdon Cycle Circuit, West London
Cost: £40

Introduction

In agreement with Mike Dixon, 6 times British Olympic cross-country and biathlon racer and SSE Senior Tutor, BMCCSA is organising a half-day coaching session in London.

Format

Based heavily on video analysis and then individual coaching advice, the sessions will start with analysis of each person's individual technique, followed by advice and tips for improvement and then with half an hour or more for you to put into practice those tips given to you (always under the watchful eyes of the coach). This will be followed by a second video analysis and, if time allows, a second set of tips and time for you to put these into practice. The idea is that, in the time available, you will get the opportunity to really bed in those technical improvements suggested to you.

Participants and Coaches

To make the sessions practical and beneficial, numbers will be strictly limited to 6 people per coach, on a first-come-first-served basis. Principal coach will be Mike Dixon MBE BEM, SSE Level 4 coach and Senior Tutor but, if demand is high, additional coaching will be offered by Adam Pinney, SSE Level 3 Caoch and SSE's newest Tutor

Costs

£40 per participant, to cover track hire and coaching costs.

Booking

If you want to take part in the session, send your name and payment to Adam Pinney, with cheques payable to BMCCSA. Adam's address is 63 Beale Street, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU6 1LZ and his email address is aapinney@ntlworld.com
