SSE Rollerski Instructor Course

** 6-7 OCTOBER 2007 **

Snowsport England will be running a Rollerski Instructor Course this October in London. SSE Chief Coach Eric Woolley will be leading the course, designed to prepare good rollerski instructors.

A major part of SSE's nordic development strategy is to ensure sufficient qualified rollerski instructors exist around the country. Developing skills, fitness and strength on rollerskis enables skiers to move onto snow with a lot of cross-country skiing skills already in place.

Rollerskiing is all the more essential to develop good skiers and ski racers in the UK, where snow is at best limited, and for most people non-existent. It is hoped that anyone interested in developing cross-country skiers will take this qualification - which enables you to obtain SSE insurance cover to teach rollerskiing (through the SSE coaching scheme).
