Britmilfit launches 'Nordic Challenge' in 2006

British Military Fitness, London's popular park fitness training company, is launching a 'Nordic Challenge' to its fitness obsessed members to take place in January 2006. This initiative will bring to skiing novices the excitement of cross-country skiing and ski racing.

Taking place from 28 January to 4 February, the week will be based in Gala, Norway. The instructors will split participants into teams at the beginning of the week, and will have them competing against each other towards the end. No previous experience is needed and it's likely that this will be a great introduction for fit skiing novices.

We'd encourage anyone interested in nordic skiing to try do a bit of rollerskiing before they set out. It's the best way of developing ski specific strength, endurance, balance and technique. Join us for a free trial session in London.

We'd also encourage skiers in London to use Britmilfit to improve their general fitness and strength. As with rollerskiing, their sessions take place outdoors, so you avoid sweaty and overcrowded gyms, and their instructors are great motivators.
