Rollerski+Waymark cross-country ski trip Last year we had our first 'on-snow' trip, attended by about 12 rollerski-prepared skiers. Before we did this trip, we were confident the rollerskiers would make a good transfer onto snow. But it wasn't until we saw for ourselves just how quickly they took to the snow that we knew for sure we were right! For the 2006/7 season we have 2 trips on offer - a Norway trip over the New Year, and a further trip to the Italian Dolomites in February 2007. Both these trips will be aimed at helping rollerski-prepared skiers make a quick tranistion to skiing on snow, and make the most of skiing in both the classic and skating styles. Our aim is - as ever - to push skiers on these holidays a bit further, to focus on the skiing, good technique and throwing in a few fun races along the way. We will make faster, waxed skis available so you can get the most out of the effort you put in. As at the beginning of October, just under half the places on the Norway trip have been taken, and we would urge you to book early, or call Waymark to reserve a place.
