Hyde Park & Richmond Pk summer rollerski courses
PEFORMANCE COACHING: SKATING AND CLASSIC
- 3 weeks skating, begins Tuesday 23 June
- 3 weeks classic, begins Tuesday 21 July
This course is aimed at serious improvers / more advanced rollerskiers, and will be mainly on rollerskis, but with some 'ski bounding' and imitation exercises. Yevgeniy is a highly experienced ski coach, responsible for some of the best biathletes and cross-country skiers in Russia's Kamchatka region. He is also a great expert in the theory of sports training, formulating training plans and diet - with a lifetime of experience in cross-country skiing.
- sessions week 1 & 2 from 18.15-20.00, meeting Triangle Carpark in Hyde Park, see here;
- sessions week 3 from 18.30-20.30 in Richmond Park, meeting East Sheen Gate, see here (nearest train station is Mortlake, on train line from Waterloo-Richmond);
- additional week 4 session in Hyde Park for any missed sessions;
- skating course begins Tuesday 23rd June, classic begins Tuesday 21st July;
- focus on technique, training and ideas for building a year-round programme for developing performance;
- cost is £95 for the 6 weeks or £55 for just the 3 classic or skating weeks. (Equipment is not included);
- great chance for more individual coaching and a smaller group.
