ALAN EASON COURSES We're pleased to announce that current British Cross-Country Ski Champion, Alan Eason, will be joining our autumn 2006 rollerski coaching lineup. Alan will be leading 2 courses in November - in classic and skating techniques - for intermediate and advanced skiers. Alan has been skiing at international level for a number of years now, and has taken part in the World Championships, as well as winning the 2006 British Championships (15k classic) against top military competition. He brings with him a wealth of experience, not just of racing at a high level, but of the coaching and management needed to get there. Alan will be doing a 4-week course in skating rollerskiing in October and a 4-week course in classic rollerskiing in November. We hope these will apeal to anyone who has already done one of our courses and is looking to improve, or to other skiers wanting to get some top-class insights. These courses will be of particular interest to anyone considering racing in 2006-7, given Alan's experience of national, international and ski marathon competition. Alan is also an excellent on-snow coach, having spent the last 3 'summers' teaching skiing to children in Australia. He will be co-leader on our trip to the Engadin Ski Marathon in March 2007. 4 week course in Hyde Park, beginning on Sunday 5th November, 10.00 to 12.00
